Taking around 15 minutes to play through, Endling is a fantastic piece of interactive storytelling.
While this may seem like a dream house, there’s clearly something else going on here… Then when you awaken the next day, the process starts again, but the house is slightly altered according to your choices. As you awake you’re greeted by an AI voice (called IKEA) that talks to you as you go through each room and asks you to make a series of simple choices – such as your favorite color, preferred type of chair or musical genre. In Endling you awaken in the bedroom of a pleasant looking house that’s filled with IKEA-esque furniture. Endling is a cleverly crafted narrative-driven Sci-Fi adventure where you live within a house that automatically adapts to your preferences, with an aim of making a perfect day that’s worth reliving.
